Connecticut, look up!
August is bringing some incredible celestial sights to our night skies. The annual Perseid Meteor Shower peaks on the nights of August 12-13, offering the chance to see dozens of meteors streak across the sky each hour under exceptionally dark conditions this year.
Whether you're an experienced stargazer or just curious about the universe, grab a blanket, find a spot away from city lights, and spend some time exploring the wonders above Connecticut.
Tip: The best viewing is typically after midnight and before dawn. No telescope required!
