Shyanne Ogilvie’s BFA Thesis vignette places us in a ghostly yet sparkling domestic space. Not memory nor reality, these figurines, ceremonial vessels, painted tiles and furniture of “Neither Here Nor There” resonate with a quiet song of queerness. We can’t wait to see how Shy will expand her practice next year as a special student at in Philadelphia — and beyond! Ad astra per aspera .not.shy ✨✨✨

“Forget Me Not” is a evocative narrative vignette by Tori Eodice, graduating ceramics senior. It pulls us into a bright, seemingly sweet imaginary birthday scene, only to confront us with the dark edges of girlhood and coming of age. Tori will be taking her significant sculptural, surfacing and wheel-throwing skills to her new job teaching at - congratulations, Tori! .throws.things

Hi, I’m Reanna Navarro and I’m currently a post bacc here at the University of Hartford.

My work explores the physical and emotional weight of inhabiting a body, using texture and form to make internal sensations visible. Through contrast and fragmentation, I create objects that feel both intimate and uneasy, inviting viewers to confront what is usually hidden beneath the surface.

Join us on May 14th at 3:30 pm in Joseloff Gallery for the opening of Patterns of Consequence!
