Michele Blatt, the West Virginia State Superintendent of Schools, has announced a new partnership with the Cook Center for Human Connection, a nonprofit foundation that is focused on eradicating su***de and providing the premier mental health programs and resources across the country to educate, empower and engage parents that will better support the emotional wellness of our students.
As a result, Parentquidance.org will now be available to all staff + parents FREE of charge.
Parentquidance.org offers:
Parent and Staff Cognitive Coaching
Each caregiver or staff member receives weekly facetime video calls for 20-30 minutes and they can text their coach 24/7. Behavioral trained coaches can provide immediate support to help staff and families navigate the ups and downs of parenting with confidence.
Parent coaching services from ParentGuidance.org are confidential, private and HIPPA protected
70 courses that cover topics such as anxiety & depression, ADHD, bullying, grief & loss, su***de prevention, self-harm, trauma, disabilities, and social media’s impact on a child’s mental health and more…

Click on Parent Coaching at the top
Click on the Get Started tab
Choose WV option and hit next
Choose your child's county and hit next
Choose you child's school and hit register
Fill out the account information and hit create account
Once you have registered, schedule your 1st coaching session
