We are beyond proud to celebrate Whitney Kirk, our HIPPY Home Visitor serving the Farmington School District, who was awarded the Avima D. Lombard Award for Home Visitor of the Year! 🎉❤️🏆

This award represents the highest honor a HIPPY home visitor can receive in the nation, and we couldn’t think of someone more deserving of this recognition.

The way she approaches her work reflects the heart of what HIPPY was built to be and the vision Avima D. Lombard had for this program: empowering parents, supporting families, and helping children build strong foundations for lifelong learning. She is thoughtful, organized, determined, and deeply committed to the families she serves.

Whitney, we are SO proud of you! Your hard work, heart, and commitment to HIPPY deserve to be celebrated, and we are grateful to have you as part of our team. This recognition is so well deserved! ❤️

📢 OUT OF OFFICE

Our Boston Mountain HIPPY office staff will be out of the office October 5–8 as we travel to Portland, Oregon for the Parents as Teachers (PAT) Conference!✈️📚

Lead Home Visitor, Lavonne Bailey, & 2026 Home Visitor of the Year, Whitney Kirk, will also be attending the conference.

🏡All other Home Visitors will continue conducting visits as scheduled during this time.

While we're away, we’ll be taking time to learn, connect, and bring back new ideas and resources to support our families and our program. 💚

Over the past two weeks, HIPPY programs across Arkansas have been busy visiting families, delivering curriculum, building relationships, and bringing learning right into the home.

A new program year means new lessons, new memories, and plenty of joyful moments ahead. We’re so excited to see our home visitors and families learning and growing together again! 💙

A lovely excuse to get outdoors, explore nature and then bring your finds home for some crafty fun. ❤️
