West Fork Choirs

One of our seniors, (Asher, a Bass 2) got to go this last Saturday to the Farmington High School Performing Arts Center to practice the All-Region Choir audition music before auditions early next month. He and the other students were instructed by the director of choirs at UAFS, Dr. Workman. They put on an informal concert to end the day. Mr. Parks got to accompany the group on stage. Asher said today that the All-Region practice event “was like three weeks of practice in one day!” He obviously learned a lot, and both he and Mr. Parks had such an enjoyable time!

Come support the West Fork Choir program by attending our 2nd Annual Bake-off and Concert fundraiser. $5 gets you in the door for some good food and a show! The Junior High Choir, the Concert Choir, and the Chamber Choir will all perform!
Tuesday, February 18th at the WF Elementary Cafetorium at 6:30pm.
If you would like to enter baked items into the Bake-off, please let Mr. Parks know. There are 5 categories you can enter: breads, cookies, cakes, pies, miscellaneous.

Tomorrow is the West Fork Choir Chili Cook-Off and Concert at 6pm in the ES Cafetorium! There will also be a small concert. It's $5 a person at the door. This is the choir program's big fundraiser for the year, so please come out and support our students!

Congratulations to these WFHS Choir students for making it into the All-Region Choirs!

Mixed Choir: Kirsten Keels (qualified for All-State)

Women's Choir: Jessica Miller, Jenna Scott, Alex Ryan, and Roxee Boyd (alternate)

These students will be rehearsing for and performing a concert on Saturday, Nov. 5th at Springdale High School.
