We don't have an exact number of learners in the fall of 1979, but the district had 3,395 learners in the fall of 1980. Last year, we welcomed 13,471 learners on the first day!

As the summer comes to a close, we would like to thank the buildings and grounds staff, food service staff, custodial staff, administrative staff, technology staff, and all of the support staff that worked throughout the summer to prepare for the 2026-2027 school year.

The first day of school is just two days away! We want to help our learners get to school safely. This year we have new expectations for our elementary and middle school learners regarding bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc.

All bicycles and wheeled riding devices—including e-bikes, electric scooters, traditional bicycles, scooters, and skateboards—must be walked, pushed, or carried while on elementary school property. They may not be ridden on school property during arrival or dismissal. This applies to learners and adults. We encourage all learners to wear a helmet.
