What do you do when you’re so sore?!
Listen to your body.
Stretch.
Drink water.
Take a hot bath.
With desk jobs and a more sedentary lifestyle - those muscles by your lumbar spine might be a little tired after twerking. Avoid hinging stretches (forward fold, cobra, etc) as those mimic the same motions that probably made you sore in the first place when practicing twerking. Instead, opt for stretches that allow you to gently twist at the waist instead.

Twerk is one of those things that people wind up saying “that was harder than I thought it would be!” It often times isn’t about flexibility or strength but PRACTICE and consistency. Not many people master skills on their first, second, or sometimes 100x try. You CAN get that b***y moving and I can give you exercises and tricks to help. ❤️
