Hidden wounds and Celebrate Freedom Foundation in Sumter South Carolina
This Saturday 20 June, Hidden Wounds will have their monthly Cruise-in. We will have be serving hotdogs and Alsies of Columbia ice cream truck will be there. Celebrate Freedom will also be there with a few of their vehicles including a Helicopter a Deuce and a half, and a Hum-Vee. We are also doing a food drive and are looking to fill the Hum-Vee with non- perishable food items, for our pantry to feed Veterans. So come check out some incredible vehicles and help us fill the Hum-Vee.

Thank you, Fort Jackson Family Homes, for inviting Celebrate Freedom Foundation (CFF) to participate in one of the many events taking place on base this weekend in celebration of the Army's 251st Birthday!

We had a wonderful time flying in and driving in to meet so many soldiers and their families. It was an honor to be part of this special celebration and connect with the military community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit with us—we appreciate your service, sacrifice, and support.

We are honored to have been invited to participate in this special event and extend our sincere thanks to the 3rd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment, "River Raiders," for the opportunity to support their Soldiers and families.

Twenty years ago, Chris Anderson commenced his tenure with Celebrate Freedom Foundation as a volunteer, seeking hands-on involvement with aircraft following his Army career. Initially, he was tasked with restoring AH-1F Cobra helicopters, which rekindled his passion. Since then, the organization has experienced significant growth, expanding its STEM program and fleet. Notably, Chris Anderson has achieved a major milestone, becoming a Licensed FAA Aircraft Mechanic and Assistant Director of the STEM Outreach Program. Let's welcome Chris Anderson in his new role.
