Kicked off our Community Helpers week with an extra special guest, Pastor Ashley from Columbia Methodist Church! She brought these sweet babes such a special message and also gave them each a prayer bear and prayed over our kids, teachers and school! We are so thankful for ALL of the Pastors in our community and ALL the ways they help! Thank you, Pastor Ashley, for taking time out of your day to come teach us and love on these sweet babes!💕

We made some apple dump cake to wrap our APPLE WEEK! It made our whole school smell like FALL! We’re pretending in here, okay!?! 😂🥵
Most of the kids ate it up and asked for seconds! I was proud of the ones who tried it even though they weren’t so sure! 😉🥰🍎

Mr. Tom was in the building!!! Also, lots of Apple week fun and outside time! We’re ready for the temp to drop just a tad!

Today during free choice play one of my babies put on a puppet show for the other kids! She even made tickets and all! The kids kept pulling up seats and gave their tickets to watch the show! This is the good stuff!

My favorite day of the year!!! Apple Day with the Rucker’s!!! Can’t believe all my Rucker babies are so grown now! My heart! They taught us sooo much about the life cycle of an apple, we made apple sauce and got to try apple butter, apple jam and the applesauce we made! Thank y’all so much for coming each year! The kids LOVE it! I do too!🍎

ALL the “Fun Friday” things! We got to have a sweet popsicle party for our Navy Jane, used our 5 senses with a popcorn snack and learned how to use stamps! On Fridays I don’t have a “plan”. Yes, we stick to our daily routine/schedule, but I kind of let the kids lead the way and don’t have high expectations for what will get done. I think we ALL need days like this! Good for EVERYONE’S soul!

We got A LOT done today! We had a few new teachers today! Asher read us a story and AMAZED us all with how well he reads! Adi helped some of the kids learn their letters and letter sounds! When we teach others, we’re learning, too! It’s special! We also did some scissors practice for the first time this school year and it made me VERY excited for what’s to come! They rocked it!

Making the letter L with our pretzel sticks! We also used our 5 senses and had a yummy, squishy, smelly good peach ring!

Fun times making a mess with Pluffle in sensory bins! If you haven’t tried this stuff it’s a messy time, but really cool stuff! It wiggles and looks like little worms!
