🐾🤠 Spirit Night Fun at Texas Roadhouse! 🎈❤️

What a wonderful night! Our Spirit Night at Texas Roadhouse on August 26th was filled with great food, lots of smiles, and an amazing turnout from our school community! We loved seeing so many of our families come out to eat, have fun, and support our school. 💙

And the balloon artist made the night even more special! 🎈✨

A HUGE thank you to Texas Roadhouse Columbia for hosting us and giving our families such a fun evening. We truly appreciate your support and everyone who came out to make Spirit Night a success! 🐾❤️

We are gonna start our Hump Day with a cup of ambition, and our new series of Getting Involved at SRAA!

First edition:

Become a Homeroom Parent Volunteer!

Help make this school year extra special by serving as a Homeroom Parent! Homeroom Parents are a valuable connection between the classroom teacher, PTO, and families. This volunteer role is a wonderful way to support your child’s classroom while helping create a fun and positive school community.

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting the teacher with classroom needs as requested
Coordinating classroom volunteers when needed
Helping organize holiday parties and special classroom events
Communicating PTO information and volunteer opportunities with classroom families
Supporting school-wide PTO events throughout the year
Assisting with teacher appreciation activities and other special projects

This role is flexible and designed to fit each teacher’s preferences and needs. Whether you’re able to help a little or a lot, your time and support make a meaningful difference!

We are looking for 1–3 Homeroom Parent Volunteers per classroom (K–5). Sign up today and help us make this a fantastic year for our students, teachers, and school community!

🎟️ Ready to Fest like a pro? Saluda RiverFest is coming!🎟️
Mark those calendars: October 8th, 2026, from 5:30–8:30 PM! It’s time for food, fun, and seeing which teacher will end up with total bragging rights.

Forms should come home in bookbags TODAY!

Here’s the deal:
• Grab a $20 Wristband: Unlocks all the festival fun for your kiddo. Unlimited rides and some popcorn!
• Spread the Fest Love: Buy an extra wristband as a gift! Some of our amazing students can’t make it without a little help from the community—let's make sure every kid gets to join the party.
• Classroom Clash: The class that sells/donates the most wristbands wins ultimate Saluda RiverFest glory. See the flyer for all the details!

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT PRO-TIP: Whenever (and wherever) you buy, you MUST include your child’s Name, Teacher, and Grade Level. No name = no points for their class, and we don't want any playground heartbreak over uncounted points!

Where do the funds go? 100% of proceeds go directly to our PTO to help with the costs of awesome field trips, power up teacher support, and bring our brand-new Care Closet for students to life. The Care Closet will benefit children by supplying hygiene products- wipes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, spare clothes, feminine hygiene products and more so every child can feel the love.

Spirit Night reminder! Come get your yeast roll, chicken finger, and steak fix at Texas Roadhouse THIS Wednesday, August 26,2026 from 5-8pm.

You MUST show the QR code for us to be able to get the 10%! Feel free to share the QR code with whomever you like - the more the merrier!

We did hear a hot tip that there might be a balloon artist there that evening - and we also heard it’s a good idea to reserve your table online beforehand!

Forget about cooking dinner and come eat with us ! Dinner is WAY more fun together.

So proud of our Bobcats staff!

The Lexington Two School District Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year celebration was extra special as we celebrated FOUR amazing Bobcats!

Along with Mrs. Foster and Mrs. Morrison, we were thrilled to celebrate two of our incredible staff members who also serve other Lexington Two schools.

Congratulations to Mrs. Hammontree (SRAA/Springdale) and Mrs. Guerrero (SRAA/Riverbank)!

We are so proud of all four of you and grateful for the impact you make across Lexington Two! 💙🐾
