A New Generation of Public School With a Heart of a Private School

West Columbia Charter School opened its doors as a charter school in the 2007-2008 school year. Today we are a modern PreK4-12 school which offers two career pathways in business and art and many dual credit courses through Brazosport College. Electives are plentiful in courses such as Business Information Management I and II, Art I, II, III, Theater Art I and II, Principles of Art, Graphic Design

I and II, and AP Art. The charter school offers a range of sports. We offer sports such as football, basketball, track, baseball, golf, softball, and tennis. The 2009-2010 football and track teams competed in the state championships. The West Columbia School staff are highly qualified and certified in their fields.
