🐬 This is what intentional teaching looks like!

Our teachers noticed that some of our older scholars could use a little extra practice with tying—and instead of simply telling them to “keep practicing,” they got creative! 💡

Using nothing more than a table, tape, and string, they created a hands-on activity that allowed our scholars to slow down, practice the motions, and build the coordination needed to eventually master tying their own shoes. 👟🪢

We LOVE moments like this at Dolphin Preparatory Academy—when a teacher notices a need, creates a solution, and turns it into a learning opportunity. 👏🏽💙

Sometimes the best lessons aren’t found in the lesson plan. They’re created by teachers who are paying attention. 🐬✨

🍌🍨 We went BANANAS for National Banana Split Day! 🍨🍌

Our Dolphin scholars had the sweetest time creating their very own banana splits—bananas, ice cream, toppings and ALL! 😋🍫🍓🍒

Of course, making them was fun…but eating them was even better! 😂
