The CHS Marching Band and directors would like to sincerely thank the CBISD Board of Trustees and our superintendents for the new Melhart Manufacturing Band Tower!

This tower provides our students and directors with a perspective of the show that closely mirrors what judges see from the press box. Having this viewpoint allows us to better teach, rehearse, and make adjustments to our show in ways we have never been able to before.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued support of the CHS Marching Band and our students!

Happy first day of school!

Today the CBISD Band staff gets to meet OVER 515 students enrolled in band at WBJH & CHS! This is the largest band program in CBISD history!

It is summer band time!

Thursday, July 23rd - Freshmen marching camp from 1 pm to 4:00 pm

July 27th - 31st - 3 pm to 9 pm.
- Please arrive for a 2:30 pm meeting on July 27th.
- Bring food for dinner or have food dropped off

Saturday, August 1st : 7 am to 10 am: 1st Day of Marching Drill

10 am till TBD - Uniform fittings.

Happy Musical Summer!
Noah Wallace, Colby Meador and Brady Bogy attended the SFA University Band Camp on percussion!

Emma Rice and Maddy Head attended the University of Texas at San Antonio Band camp on flute!

Benna Rodriguez and Lilia Vargas attended the University of Houston Band camp on Oboe and Clarinet!

lastly, Mr. Watson, Mrs. Hackett and Mr. Hackett performed with the The Brazoria Wind Symphony on July 3rd!
