Educare West DuPage

We are so excited to share that a brand-new Micro Pantry has been installed right in front of our building!

This free, accessible resource operates on a beautiful and simple principle: "Take what you need, leave what you can." It is a safe, anytime space where local individuals and families can easily access shelf-stable food and essential goods whenever they need a little extra help.

This wonderful project was made possible through an amazing partnership with West Chicago Community High School. The incredibly talented students in their Construction Class completely designed and built the pantry themselves. We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and shared heart for supporting our neighborhood.

Over the next few weeks, we will be busy painting the structure and stocking it with its very first round of items. We look forward to sharing more details soon on how you can get involved, contribute goods, and help us take care of this valuable resource 😄

Just a quick reminder for all of our families that Educare West DuPage will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3rd.

The historic Big Boy Train is making a special stop in downtown West Chicago, and we encourage all of our families to go out and experience it.
