Dear WCU Community,

We owe a standing ovation to our entire West Chester University Golden Rams baseball team for impressive accomplishments that have been demonstrated over months of sacrifice, resilience, and determination. These student athletes, together with Coach LaRosa and his staff, have shown all of us what it means to work hard as teammates and to persevere with grit and humility. I could not be prouder of this team’s collective effort, or the West Chester University example that each one of them has shown on a highly visible national stage. Championships are not won by trophies alone, and, while the ending isn’t what any of us had hoped, this team has given our entire community something to be quite proud of and to celebrate.

Many thanks to our students, faculty, staff, and community fans who have shown up faithfully, cheered loudly, and stood by our Golden Rams all season. Your passion and your enthusiasm are a powerful reminder of what continues to make West Chester University so special.
