🍌✨ Banana Day at WCU!✨🍌
What started in 1996 as one student’s simple idea, Communication major Rodolfo “Rudy” Téllez , turned into a global tradition. At the first Banana Day, only 50 t-shirts were made and 3000 bananas were handed out across campus!
Now, 30 years later, West Chester continues to celebrate the connection banana day provides.
Here’s to Rudy’s legacy, the dedicated people who kept the tradition going, the silliness, and so. many. BANANAS! 🍌
