Gen 6 17 in the rental caseโ€ฆ

The G***k 17 Gen 6 just hit our rental case.

The newest G***k generation is a real departure from Gen 5, not just a minor refresh. New grip texture, flat faced trigger, and it comes optics ready right out of the box. If you've been seeing it all over your feed and wondering what the hype is about, now you don't have to guess. Rent it, run a few mags through it, decide for yourself.

See you on the range.

Draw and a reload, basically the 4 Aces drill with no par time, just moving the hands as fast as possible.

How soon are you reacting to the beep? Is the firing hand getting to the gun quickly? Is it the beginning of a grip you can shoot with? Do the hands come together correctly? Does the gun arrive at the eye/ target line with a grip that supports what you need to do? Did the sight arrive on the spot on which your vision is focused?

Does the firing thumb get to the mag release as your grip breaks? Does the mag come out while the gun is vertical? Is the support hand indexing the reload mag correctly? Does your vision break from the target as your grip breaks? Does it get to the magwell? Does the reload mag arrive properly oriented? Does your vision return to the point of aim as soon as you see the mag will go home?

Do you reestablish a grip that supports what you need to do? Does it all arrive back at the eye/target line?
Does the sight arrive back on the point of aim?

Get after it! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

What are you working on? Are you working on anything? If not, why not?

Are you just going through the motions and calling it dry fire?

Are you isolating what you are working on?

Here is index from the draw...
8 par time. Reacting to the beep soon enough? How is the firing hand arriving on the gun? Is the gun arriving at the eye/target line with a grip you can shoot with? Is the dot arriving on the spot on which you are focused? Is the dot quiet/stable when it arrives? Are the arms too tense? Are the shoulders too tense?

Get after it! ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿ˜Ž
