Every kid says it, but the kids of Adamo dads can prove it!
The dads training here show up early, do the hard sets, and they make it look easy. Their kids notice that stuff. So when one of them throws out the old playground line, well, we have the numbers to prove it 💪.

This past Saturday the team competed in the Southwest Regional Special Olympics Competition to qualify them for the 2026 State Games. Our very own team captains: Alaina (Bulldog) and Larry (The Machine) both finished with gold🏅Now the team focuses on rest and recovery for State in 2 weeks!

At Adamo Fitness we're privileged to train so many amazing moms (and soon-to-be moms 👶).
They're raising kids, running households, building careers, growing companies, and somehow they still find the energy to chase bigger squats (and put up with my terrible jokes). We're not sure how they do it, but we're grateful we get a front-row seat.

9AM this past Saturday morning the streets of Cincinnati ran BLUE as the Adamo crew rolled in for the Flying Pig 5K.
Some came for the glory.
Some came for the medal.
Most came because I peer pressured them into participating 😂.
This is what we mean when we say train for life. The gym work pays off when it's time to actually go do the thing, whether that's a 5K, a hike with the grandkids, or hauling groceries up the stairs without breathing hard.
Proud of every one of you. Training for next year starts now. I think we have some times to improve.

This past weekend the Team traveled to Miami University to compete in their last “for fun” competition. Alaina came away with a great bench, Jacob gave his best “Kabazinga” (one of his catch phrases) after a PR deadlift, Larry smoked all his lifts for the day, Jay came out with a great bench PR, and James finished his last deadlift with a smile! Next stop Regionals!

Aging doesn’t mean getting weaker. Too many people believe that.
Steve is 64 and still getting stronger. Yes, putting more weight on the bar is cool, but that’s not really the point. What it represents matters more.
It means being able to keep doing the things you love for years to come. Playing with your grandkids. Working in the yard. Taking hikes without feeling limited.
Strength isn’t about the gym. It’s about your life outside of it.

The Special Olympics crew traveled to Dayton this past weekend to compete at The Crew Powerlifting meet! Alaina (Bulldog), Jay (Road Warrior), and James (The Sheriff) all came home with gold. Larry (The Machine) won himself silver and Jacob (The Sloth) finished 4th! We’re very proud of what these athletes overcome to be able to perform at such an impressive level.
Big news from Adamo Fitness!!!
After months of research, athlete consultations, and reviewing the latest performance data, we are proud to announce the official integration of Hobby Horsing into the Adamo Fitness training program.
Hobby Horsing is one of the fastest-growing athletic disciplines in the world, and the physical demands are no joke. Coordination, core stability, cardiovascular endurance, explosive leg power, and rhythm-based movement patterns are all central to the sport.
Zach and I have been studying elite-level competitors and have developed a series of exercises designed to translate these movements into serious fitness gains.
We have already filmed our first round of videos and will be rolling them out to clients this week.
This is the next chapter for Adamo Fitness. We are committed to staying at the cutting edge of athletic training, wherever that takes us.
