CYO Sports is more than just a sports program, it is a ministry. It is just one component of a parish's comprehensive youth ministry program, which enables the partnership of parents, coaches, priest, religious, teachers and adult leaders to manage and support a sports program that allows youth to grow in their relationship with God and come to better understand themselves and the Catholic faith.

A big shoutout to our track athletes who will be moving onto Areas!! 👏 Congratulations to all of you for your hard work, heart & determination!
-Caden Marge won the 1600m for minor boys and also qualified in the 400m and 800m.
-Will Fielding qualified in the 800m and shot put.
-Ryan Kurimay qualified in the high jump.
-Grace Moncavage won the girls novice high jump and qualified in the 100m and long jump.
-Madison Marge qualified in the 100m, 800m and long jump.
-Theresa Oliver qualified in the long jump and triple jump.
The Areas meet will take place at West Chester University on May 17th. Good luck everyone and GO CARDINALS!! ❤️🖤

That’s a wrap on March Madness! 🏀 Last night concluded our month long competition and series of games, and the gym was filled with lots of fun and St. Max spirit over the past few weeks. ❤️🖤 Thank you to all of our participants, and the fans who came out to support our athletes and their teams! 👏 A big congratulations to our teams who secured championship wins - Louisville in our 7th/8th division and Duke in our 5th/6th! 🏆 March Madness never disappoints, and we can’t wait to do it all over again next year! 😎

Let’s give a BIG shoutout to Michael - the Knights of Columbus East Region 12U Free Throw Champion!! 🏆 Michael has gone through several rounds of competition, winning both the district and region, and will go onto States, which takes place in two weeks in Mechanicsburg. All 4 of our regional teams made the Archdiocese CYO Tournament!!! 🙌👏💪 Games start tomorrow! Our Varsity boys & girls and JV boys play tomorrow, and our JV girls start on Sunday, being the #1 seed heading into the tournament. Here we go Cardinals!! Both boys & girls teams secured the semi-final wins and are headed to the CHAMPIONSHIP!!! Girls play at 12:30 and boys at 1:45. Both games at Bishop Shanahan.
