St. Maximilian Kolbe CYO Our CYO programs employ healthy and enjoyable competition to promote the sharing of gospel values.

CYO Sports is more than just a sports program, it is a ministry. It is just one component of a parish's comprehensive youth ministry program, which enables the partnership of parents, coaches, priest, religious, teachers and adult leaders to manage and support a sports program that allows youth to grow in their relationship with God and come to better understand themselves and the Catholic faith. Our CYO programs employ healthy and enjoyable competition to promote the sharing of gospel values among athletes, parents and coaches while assisting parish leadership in nourishing the emotional, spiritual, social and physical needs of young people. The programs encourage young people to appreciate the gifts that they possess and challenges them to shares these gifts with their community. It also allows youth to witness the life of Christian discipleship in their coaches and adult leaders and encourages youth to become responsible members of their faith community.

A big shoutout to our track athletes who will be moving onto Areas!! 👏 Congratulations to all of you for your hard work, heart & determination!

-Caden Marge won the 1600m for minor boys and also qualified in the 400m and 800m.

-Will Fielding qualified in the 800m and shot put.

-Ryan Kurimay qualified in the high jump.

-Grace Moncavage won the girls novice high jump and qualified in the 100m and long jump.

-Madison Marge qualified in the 100m, 800m and long jump.

-Theresa Oliver qualified in the long jump and triple jump.

The Areas meet will take place at West Chester University on May 17th. Good luck everyone and GO CARDINALS!! ❤️🖤

That’s a wrap on March Madness! 🏀 Last night concluded our month long competition and series of games, and the gym was filled with lots of fun and St. Max spirit over the past few weeks. ❤️🖤 Thank you to all of our participants, and the fans who came out to support our athletes and their teams! 👏 A big congratulations to our teams who secured championship wins - Louisville in our 7th/8th division and Duke in our 5th/6th! 🏆 March Madness never disappoints, and we can’t wait to do it all over again next year! 😎
