By week two of summer break, every parent has Googled "free things for toddlers" at least once. We've got you. βοΈ
Nine WCP playdates at nine local parks all summer long. Mix of morning meetups, afternoon hangs, and evening playdates that work for working parents. Open to current WCP families and anyone curious about our co-op.
Save the flyer, RSVP on our events page, and come hang. New faces always welcome. π

A co-op runs on coffee, group texts, and the people who actually said yes when someone asked, "will you join the board?" This crew just wrapped up the 2025/26 school year, and we owe them big time.
Nicole Hagedorn, Vice President (26/27 Fundraising Chair)
Lexie Lenavitt, Treasurer (26/27 Administrator)
Nathan Nixon, Secretary (26/27 Publicity Chair)
Rachel Gumpert, President (and lucky for us, sticking around as President for 2026/27)
A full year of meetings, decisions, problem-solving, and quietly making this place run. Thank you for everything you poured into WCP. We are a better school because of you four. π

Today was our end-of-year picnic, and our preschoolers and families showed up ready to celebrate. They collected their certificates, posed with Mrs. Erin, Mrs. Lisa, and Mrs. Lexie one more time, and made their families completely fall apart in the best possible way.
To the Pre-K class heading off to kindergarten: you are SO ready. The world doesn't know what's coming.
To Threes coming back next year: we already can't wait.
To every WCP family who showed up today: thank you for making this such a beautiful close to the year.

A WCP tradition is for all the kids to get an end of year shirt decorated with their classmates and teachers names. They'll wear them to our last day picnic at Francis RecreAcres this Wednesday, May 13. Which means each one of them is walking in carrying their whole class with them. A year of friendships, written in puffy paint. π

Anyone who's spent a full morning with one preschooler knows this job is harder than it looks. Ms. Erin, Ms. Lisa, and Ms. Lexie do it every week. At a co-op, parents are in the classroom too, so we see the small stuff. The activities prepared each day. The meltdown gently met. The proud face after a name is written for the first time. Thank you, you three π

Mini golf, sticky sundae faces, and one very crowded bench. Spring Family Night at Eagle Tee Golf Center was everything you'd want from a WCP gathering. Kids cheered each other on through every hole, parents and grandparents joined in, and the whipped cream-to-bowl ratio got a little out of hand.
This is what a cooperative preschool actually looks like. Friendships that spill out of the classroom, families who show up for each other, and a community that keeps growing together long after pickup time.
Looking for a preschool home for your little one? We're now enrolling for 2026-27. Come see what makes WCP different. π§‘
