He will be performing the 3rd movement of the Haydn Piano concerto in D Major with the Mason Symphony on Sunday April 26th, 2026 at Resurrection United Methodist Church at 4:00pm!

Toedtman School of Music would like to congratulate Marley Feng (violin) who was accepted into the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra first violins, Sriya Tummala (violin) who was accepted into the Cincinnati Junior Strings, and Laura Fernandes De Souza (double bass) who was accepted into the Cincinnati Junior Strings. We are happy to welcome Zach Karp to the Toedtman School facility. Zach has his Master’s degree in Jazz Piano from CCM. If you would like to learn how to improvise on the piano or learn popular styles of music Zach can help.

The Toedtman School of Music would like to congratulate the following students who placed in the American Protege International Competition of Romantic Music. Andrew Zhang 1st place 11-14 age bracket, Irene Zhang 2nd place 11-14, Sophia Li 3rd place 11-14 and Aidan Zhong 3rd place 15-18. These talented students will be performing at Carnegie Hall this March! They are all students of Luba Fedorov. Congratulations!!!

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of John K. Toedtman, cofounder of Toedtman School of Music, having passed away last Sunday, January 8, 2023 due to complications from multiple myeloma. He will be greatly missed. Please see the link included for memorial date and time as well as a way to leave remembrances.
