Summer may be here, but our learning never stops!
At Lakota Robotics, our FRC students continue sharpening their skills throughout the summer. By meeting three days a week, they're gaining hands-on experience and building the knowledge they'll use during the upcoming build season.

At Lakota Robotics, we build more than robots.
We build friendships, confidence, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. Our students come together to learn, create, and support one another while developing skills that will last a lifetime. No matter their background or experience level, everyone has a place on our team.
That's what makes Lakota Robotics special. ππ

We're proud to share that several of our mentors recently attended the Woodie Flowers Conference in Detroit, Michigan!
A special congratulations to mentors Jimmy Nichols and Jeff Morgan, who were selected as presenters. Their session, "Struggles and Successes of Operating a Community-Based Program," highlighted the journey of building and sustaining Lakota Robotics and the Paul George STEM Center.
They shared real-world lessons on funding, partnerships, volunteer management, facilities, and how to stay focused on the mission while navigating growth and challenges. We're honored to help inspire other STEM programs and share what we've learned along the way.

Did you know our FRC students logged more than 10,801 hours of hands-on learning last season?
From engineering and programming to leadership, marketing, and teamwork, every hour helped students build skills that will last a lifetime. We're proud to provide opportunities that inspire the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders!

Day 3 of LEGO Summer Camp was packed with creativity, coding, and teamwork! π»π»
Our campers put their coding skills to work by programming flowers to grow on a virtual farm, then got their hands dirty planting real flower seeds. They also designed team buttons and created posters to show off their creativity and team spirit.
Learning, building, and having fun all in one day!
