Magnus Karate

The Leadership Team wrapped up the 2025-2026 season with their 10th & final all team training. It was another amazing season with a wonderful group of young leaders!

More familiar faces are spending some of their summer break at the dojo!! Annette and Will, also Magnus alumni, have been in for training too!

It’s feeling like summer at the dojo as familiar faces are stopping by! Magnus alums Nico & Xavier recently came in to the dojo to train and Drew has been in to teach and train while home for summer break. We love seeing our alumni train with our current students while they’re home!

Congratulations to our Spring 2026 Black Belt class! We had twelve outstanding youth participants take our three hour test. It was excellent showing for all!!

The Leadership Team had their 9th of 10 all levels trainings! Our young leaders have been working hard this school year; it’s hard to believe this season is coming too a close soon.

Our weekend at the dojo started with a fun Ninja Turtle themed parent night out event. We had a fun time learning nunchaku skills & having a glow Nerf party!

The month of May began with our 3rd quarterly belt testing weekend of 2026. Our beginner class group displayed strong technique and were outstanding all around. Our intermediate and advanced class groups displayed a great deal of technical independence and improvement all around. Congratulations to all who passed their test and are ready to receive their new ranks!

HAPPY 16 YEARS TO MAGNUS KARATE!

It is wild to look back on the last 16 years and reflect on all of the families we have gotten to work with and what has been accomplished at Magnus Karate. We are so grateful for the ongoing support of the Magnus community. Being entrusted with a child’s martial education is something that Sensei Pannulla does not take lightly and being able to do so for the last 16 years has been an honor.

Thank you to all of our Magnus Karate families past and present for helping us to see this milestone! We look forward to many more wonderful years ahead! ❤️🥋🎉

At the end of April Sensei traveled with three of his adult class students to Chicago to attend the Spring Shobayashi-Kan group seminar. It was a great trip filled with hours of training and an opportunity to advance our studies.

The Leadership Team had their 8th team training of the season in April.
