"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." – Martin Luther King Jr.
At MY Advocacy, we believe children learn best when they feel safe and supported. Family separation, enforcement actions without due process, and senseless violence create trauma that follows children to school and impacts their ability to learn and thrive.
We are committed to standing with families. Your child matters, and protecting their safety and dignity is at the heart of our work.

If you give an advocate a gingerbread house, of course they’ll turn it into something inclusive and accessible. 🏠🍬
Thank you Nami Montgomery County, Pa for hosting such a meaningful event dedicated to reducing the stigma around teen mental health. It was wonderful connecting with so many driven students and organizations doing powerful work in our community!

Our advocates, Melissa and Emily, had the pleasure of attending the Main Line Parent Women of Influence Luncheon today! They left feeling inspired and recharged after connecting with so many amazing women making an impact across the Main Line community.
Melissa was honored to attend for a second year as a Women of Influence alum, having received the award in 2024. We’re also so proud of our colleague, Kristin Meyer of The REACH Group Educational Consultants, LLC, for being named one of the 2025 Women of Influence alongside so many other incredible changemakers! 🐦🔥💫
Events like this remind us of the power of women supporting women and the impact we can make when we lift each other up. 💪🏻✨

We’re so grateful to CASA Youth Advocates, Inc. Delaware County and Chester County for inviting us to speak at your annual conference this morning!✨
Our founder, Melissa Yelito, and transition consultant, Erin Brown, were honored to be your keynote speakers. We shared insights on the role of the Educational Decision Maker (EDM) and how to effectively advocate for individuals with disabilities from birth through adulthood.
The curiosity, passion, and dedication in the room were truly inspiring. We hope everyone walked away with new tools and strategies to better support youth in foster care as their EDM.
Thank you for all you do to uplift and protect the voices of children and youth every day.
