Bruce Larkin really cringes when his children’s book writing process crosses path with a controversial subject. In a book he is researching, wild horses must be accurately described as a non-native invasive species, but so many people love them that he knows he will get some angry feedback.

Has someone who writes educational books for children, I am always looking for ways to help children understand places they may never see in person. Sadly, many kids will never visit a farm. This picture caught my attention because I had never seen sheep and chickens together like this before
