We teach kids about buildings, machines, and other things that people build. This interesting structure is in Butte, Montana, the home of the richest hill on earth.

Many children love animals, and also aspire to be police officers. This is a beautiful picture of a truly majestic horse, and a professional looking law-enforcement officer.

As we write books for children about everyday objects, I have the pleasure of introducing kids to candies which they might not have ever seen before. This is a British candy. It’s delicious!

We’re doing some books about weather and thought that this picture would be really interesting to kids who love horses and kids who never get to see the snow.

We do books about a lot of different subjects, but the kids really love our animal books. This American mink was spotted recently at the UC Davis campus in California. How cool!

We are working on a book about music. Do you think the little kids will even understand what a pipe organ is? It’s such a cool pic, but it’s no use if it does not get the message across.

We publish all kinds of books for pre-K to third grade students, including books about art. This beautiful mural from New Mexico will, hopefully, inspire some young students to become more creative.

We publish books for young children which help them understand many things about the world. This is something that almost none of them would ever see if we didn’t show it to them, a wool factory in Wyoming.

Bruce Larkin really cringes when his children’s book writing process crosses path with a controversial subject. In a book he is researching, wild horses must be accurately described as a non-native invasive species, but so many people love them that he knows he will get some angry feedback.

Has someone who writes educational books for children, I am always looking for ways to help children understand places they may never see in person. Sadly, many kids will never visit a farm. This picture caught my attention because I had never seen sheep and chickens together like this before

If you want to see this little guy, you’ll have to do what I did one time, which is to visit Bandelier national monument in New Mexico. It is an American pika.
