Hey all! I know it’s been forever since I’ve posted anything but much coming soon.

First off though I want to announce the first of two major events at Thunderhead this summer. The first is a building workshop led by the world’s guru of Cordwood Masonry, Rob Roy! Rob was my teacher and we are thrilled that he is making the trek to Montana to share his wisdom. Rob is basically retired so this could be one of the last workshops he ever teaches! Contact me if you are interested.

Happy Earth Day 2021!
From the snowy North Country of New York State. The Dark-eyed Juncos and White-throated Sparrows are delighted that we still have our bird feeders larders stocked.
Only one month until our first workshop and we hope for an improvement in the weather.

We lost a dear Cordwood friend, Tom Huber on February 11th 2021 Here are some photos of his most recent, creative work at his getaway Cedar Eden in the Adirondacks.
He was featured in the 2015 Conference papers advocating his CEM Cellulose-enhanced mortar where he wrote about how he incorporates cellulose into his mortar mixes. Notice also the way he has a nice completion to the base of his posts with cobblestones..... A Tom Huber signature feature!
Besides being a Cordwood enthusiast he spread his knowledge of nature especially on fungi. We will miss having him as a resource and as a friend.
We wish his wife Holly and her family our condolences. With our best wishes Jaki and Rob
