Burke Town School is located in West Burke, VT, and is in Burke School District. It is a public school that serves 182 students in grades K-8. We provide support in several ways:
1) We provide seasonal Community Service Weekends / Days. Recently, families gathered to help care for school property and lawn services to community members needing help.
2) We offer Family Fun Nights at the school, like
potluck dinners, craft & movie nights, and night sledding parties.
3) We provide financial support for school programs such as the Winter Activities Program (skiing, skating, and snowshoeing), visits to the Fairbanks Museum, and the Kingdom Sense of Place (two days of hands-on learning for students located in the Northeast Kingdom).
4) We assist teachers and staff by attempting to meet their requests and by showing our support.
5) We partner with programs such as Price Chopper Tools for Schools, Campbell's Labels, Boxtops for Education, and MYCokeRewards for Schools. All of these programs offer our school cash or free educational equipment.
