IT Architect Series will have a series of books that focus on theory, approach, methodology, and the strategies used to implement technologies in the modern datacenter and cloud environments. The first in the IT Architect Series, Foundation in the Art of Infrastructure Design, is written by three VCDX certified experts and includes full design documents for a virtual infrastructure including virtu
al desktops. The methodology for infrastructure design, analysis approach on design decisions made, and advice on presenting a design with an example to match the designs included in the book are given. The second in the book is written by Daemon Behr and is titled Designing Risk in IT Infrastructure. The third is The Journey by Melissa Palmer, focusing on the path taken and the tools used to achieve an architect level. Melissa holds the VMware VCDX certification.
