When we need to recharge… 🌊☀️

This weekend, I gave myself something I really needed: time at the beach to slow down, disconnect, and recharge before the busy fall season begins.

In sports, we know that recovery is part of performance. Athletes need time to rest, rebuild, and prepare for what comes next.

Leadership is no different.

With so much focus on goals, decisions, responsibilities, and supporting others, we sometimes forget to restore our own energy.

This weekend was a good reminder:

We don’t always need to do more to perform better. Sometimes, we need to recharge. 🔋

Ready for the season ahead with renewed energy and perspective. 🍂

I used to be shy and introverted.

I was embarrassed by my accent.

I struggled to find the right words.

After living abroad for 26 years, there were many moments when I felt my accent was limiting me—and I worried that the way I communicated didn’t reflect what I actually knew.

Today, I speak, facilitate, and coach leaders from around the world.

And guess what?
