A TRIPLE WIN LAST WEEK FOR JAGUAR ATHLETICS! 💥

All three of our teams competed last week, and all three brought home impressive victories:

Men’s Soccer: Earned their first win of the 2026 season with an 8-0 shutout against Austin Catholic, powered by a 5-goal performance from Noam Vanderhoek '29 and goals from Yoni Livne '29, Nitai Jakar '29, and Shai Ohana '30!

Women’s Volleyball: Made history by hosting FJA’s first-ever home Quad meet and finished 2-1 with wins over Ivywood Classical and Roeper! Standouts included Olivia Keller '27 (10 kills), Naomi Moy '27 (21 assists, 7 aces), and Michelle Ifraimov '27 (3 blocks).

Men’s Tennis: Defeated Divine Child 5-3 with singles wins from Shyah Lakind '27 and Drew Edelstein '27, plus doubles sweeps from Sammy Shanbaum '29/Jacob Aronov '28, Ethan Bocknek '29/Eli Katz '29, and Moses Schuchman '28/Noah Tepper '27!

The wait is officially over—FJA is BACK!

The energy on campus today is absolute magic! Our Seniors kicked off their final chapter early this morning with Senior Sunrise, bringing all the hype and spirit for what’s going to be an unforgettable year. From the halls to the classrooms, the vibe today is unmatched.

Our new students had so much fun at New Student Orientation! They got their new laptops and learned about FJA in the morning, and spent some time team building on the ropes course in the afternoon! We can't wait for them to be part of our Jag family!🐾💙

Continuing our countdown to school, our Girls' Varsity Volleyball team is already putting in the work! Preseason is in full swing, the energy in the gym is high, and the team is locked in for an incredible run.

Despite a tough loss to Novi Christian, the Lady Jaguars played hard and were able to show their growth thus far this season. A special shout-out to Eliana Mayerson '29, who "brought the hammer" with her net play; Naomi Moy '27, who was all over the court and earned the "Hustle Helmet"; and Aliya Peysakhov '29, who did the little things and walked away with the "Teammate Turnout Chain" for her energy, hustle, and spirit. 🎉🎉

Athletics are fundamental to our culture, which is why over 70 percent of our student body actively competes on a sports team, building lifelong team-building skills that extend far beyond the court.

Senior year hasn’t even officially started, and our Class of 2027 is already hard at work!

Our students are currently meeting 1-on-1 with our college counselor, Sheri, to refine their applications. Thanks to a 4-year counseling process that begins in 9th grade, our students enter senior year with clear goals and dedicated support.

Class of 2026 by the numbers:
- 136 College Acceptances
- 42 Unique Schools & Universities
- $2.2M+ in Merit Scholarships (including the prestigious Shipman Scholarship at U-M!)

The journey to college isn't a senior year sprint, it's a 4-year partnership.

Our Director of College Counseling, Sheri Dunatchik, and Student Life Coordinator, Erin Young, recently hit the road to explore several college campuses, meeting with admissions counselors and campus Hillel staff along the way.

From making valuable connections to experiencing each campus's unique vibe firsthand, every visit helps us better guide and support our students as they navigate the college application journey.
