Hello Everyone this is Crystal the photographer here at McCulley Hill. Amanda has asked for me to post this message on her behalf.

Hello parents, students, and friends. I do apologize for all of the messages that i have been unable to answer. I am in no way ignoring anyone so please don’t think I am. My husband and myself were just recently permanently locked out of this page so I am unable to see or respond to any messages. You are welcome to email the school at [email protected] or send me messages through my personal account which is under the name Amanda Smith-Weed. I am unable to delete this account so I also ask that everyone who has liked this page please report it so it can get taken down then unlike the page.
I appreciate y’all so much for working with me and being so wonderful as always.

John 20:28 “Thomas answered him, “My Lord (Master) and my God!”

Today the church remembers Thomas, often called Doubting Thomas. It seems to me he has gotten a bad reputation for doing something that I actually admire. Thomas had questions and he dared to ask them. Moreover, he dared to let Christ prove Himself genuine and real. If I were creating Thomas’ nickname, I’d call him “Good Question Thomas.” Doubt is the companion of faith, and it’s time for doubt to come out from under the carpet.

You see, I think every thoughtful Christian has moments of wondering about faith or God’s place in our lives. Alas, we too often keep quiet about our uncertainties, suffering with them alone. But there is great value to sharing our questions and our struggles (especially when our questions are brought to Christ directly). Every time I have shared a doubt or question with my Creator, it has been a blessing to me.

When we raise our questions with sincerity, we are opening ourselves for God to enter our minds. Like Thomas, we might move past doubt to a place of confident faith, a place where we too can say “My Lord and my God!”

Good tidings and great joy to you all.
