🎄🌲 The Championship Race Just Got More Interesting... Team Green Tree Has Arrived! 🌲🎄

The competition for the title of Ultimate Holiday Champions continues as we welcome Team Green Tree Elementary to Christmas in July!

Representing Green Tree are:

⭐ Sara Baker, 4th Grade Teacher
🍪 Fun Sports Stat: Sara holds the unofficial record for baking the most holiday cookies in a single season.

⭐ Kelsey Sankey, Special Education Aide
❄️ Fun Sports Stat: Kelsey is known for ending snowball fights almost as quickly as they begin.

⭐ Laura Hasslinger, 3rd Grade Teacher
🎁 Fun Sports Stat: Laura is the fastest present wrapper on the team—and possibly in the entire competition.

⭐ Shelly Newman, Classroom Aide
🚣 Fun Sports Stat: Shelly earned the unofficial title of "Most Graceful Swimmer" at the Boat Regatta.

Together, they'll tackle the Pantomime Reindeer Race, Blind Gift Heist, Slippery Sled Pull, and other holiday-themed challenges in pursuit of school pride, bragging rights, and the coveted championship trophy.

With Team Decorah, Team Fair Park, and now Team Green Tree in the mix, the competition is getting fierce. Green Tree appears to be bringing a well-rounded strategy: cookies, snowballs, gift-wrapping speed, and a regatta veteran who knows how to make a splash. The other schools have officially been put on notice!

Join us on July 12 from 12-3 at West Bend High School Football Field to cheer on your favorite team, enjoy carnival games, face painting, raffles, concessions, and more—all while supporting youth and family mental health services in our community.

We hope everyone has a wonderful summer and we look forward to another year of learning that includes 5th grade at Green Tree in the fall.

No more lesson plans. No more early mornings. No more second grade homework to grade. Ms. Kretlow of Green Tree Elementary has officially earned the right to do whatever she wants. Congratulations on your retirement—you deserve every single second of it!

Lunch on the Hill also happened on both the hill and the gym today due to the rain. No matter where they were at, students loved eating with their teachers today. HAPPY SUMMER!
