I’ve been behind posting pictures but we have been making progress. Done painting by the end of the week and then it’s on to flooring.

Not every day is bright and sunny in life. Even in less than ideal conditions we dig in and get work done. Life isn’t easy. Buckle up and enjoy the adventure.

We are back on site and making good progress with siding and exterior finishes!!

As always, we have had some setbacks but the last week or so has been great!! Floor trusses up and floor sheathing nearly complete. Next week hopefully we will get 2nd floor walls going! And we have our resident Robin.

One step forward!! Today was about learning how to set trusses and read specifications, along with getting some floor trusses up and in place!

Big step today!! We finally got concrete. Soooooo happy to see this come in, we need our floor trusses and we can keep rolling. Positive thoughts!

As expected, modifications are being made as we go. Troubleshooting is part of learning and there’s nothing better than seeing the students look at you and go “ohhhhhh” when the light bulb comes on. Exhausting, but loving it!

FINALLY back on the job site!! There are some modifications we are working on due to some detail changes. We should be putting up walls next week! The students were excited (maybe a little chilly) but excited to get back to work on the house. Updates to continue!
