Florida’s firearm waiting period could soon be coming to an end!

The Florida Attorney General has moved to settle a lawsuit challenging the state’s three-day waiting period for firearm purchases.

The case argues that lawful buyers should not have to wait after passing a background check.

Important note:
This is NOT final yet.

A federal court still needs to approve the agreement before the waiting period is officially struck down.

This is another reminder of how quickly gun laws can change—and how confusing they can be to keep track of.
