4-H Volunteer Impact at the County Fair 08/05/2026

When we think of 4-H and the County Fair we think of our wonderful youth showing their exhibits, animals and perhaps animal auctions. The Ziegler Building is full of art, photography, sewing and other displays that have been entered by our youth. We beam with pride that our youth have been engaged in their projects throughout the year and the week of the fair is a celebration of the year-round passion, talent, frustration, and tenacity that our youth put into their exhibits.

Wisconsin schools are preparing to implement new student cell phone policies under Wisconsin Act 42 for the 2026-27 school year. In response, UW-Madison Division of Extension is offering the ๐™’๐™ž๐™จ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™จ๐™ž๐™ฃ ๐™Ž๐™˜๐™๐™ค๐™ค๐™ก ๐™‹๐™๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™š ๐˜ฝ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™จ ๐™’๐™š๐™—๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™–๐™ง ๐™Ž๐™š๐™ง๐™ž๐™š๐™จ, a three-part series for school leaders, educators, and families.

Each session is designed for a different audience and will offer practical tools and evidence-based guidance for supporting students as schools put new phone policies into practice.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ CWF is a dedicated track at Ignite-the premier experience for teens to discover their sparks to explore and experience civic engagement, citizenship, and gain leadership skills. This is a week-long experience in the Nationโ€™s Capitol where you can tour National museums, visit the Mall, and experience Federal government in action!

AnnMarie DiGangi and her son Dominic joined WTKM live at the Washington County Fair. Dominic is a member of the 4-H Cloverbud club and will be an official 4-H member this year as he enters the 3rd grade! He is also a member of the Washington County Jr. Holstein group.
