Who makes up your life circles? As children we are told that the people we are around matter. Not only is that true, it stays true throughout your life. As we get older and things become bigger, harder, more difficult, it is important to look at who is around you.

People worth having won't care if it's a good day or a bad day. They don't care if life is messy, or your hair, or your house!
They will help without complaint.
They will reinforce that you aren't a burden.
They will BE there for you.

It is never a bad time to reevaluate those around you. Who would tell you to have a seat and rest, who will listen to you? Who would you want to sit with you?

Do you ever say, "I wish I could go back ." Or "if I could do it again I'd ...."? Well the truth is, if you went back, you are a different person than the person in that moment. Especially if time has passed. Everything in life has an opportunity to learn from. You have to look at things and take what you would "go back and change" and remember that for a potential "next time".

For myself most situations not handled the best weren't good situations. Meaning, I probably wouldn't want to do them again, as it was or with someone else in the future. So it needs to stay where it was, with the outcome being a learning moment for all involved.

Growth can be small or big. Altogether it can be huge either way! See that as a positive. You are who you are for a reason. Be grateful for not being where you were. Not happy with where you are? Do future "you" a favor and work towards a better future so you can look back at the now and say "I love that I don't fit there anymore!"

I'm here to listen, and to help when wanted. The world is a big scary place sometimes. It's easy to end up feeling alone on a circle with billions of people. Isn't that kind of crazy? Kind of sad. I decided I could use traits that make me who I am to be there for people. To listen, to uplift, to help, and to challenge where and when needed.

This is a safe space to be who you are. You are always welcome here, however you are feeling!

Another week has gone and another has arrived. There is a lot to take in on the news. A lot to take in on socials. A lot to take in from friends, kids, spouses, coworkers.
Finding a balance to not just feel doom and gloom is key! We control how much we absorb. Boundaries in all areas of life can help us stay calm and maintain the reminder that there IS something good in every day. Some days it might be harder to find, but it's there. And you can help yourself out by making sure the world doesn't drown you in the negative everywhere.

Do you know how to set the boundaries needed to achieve this? Ask for help! There are lots of us here ready to help! You deserve to feel OK! 💪🏽 ❤️

Happy Weekend! IF it's not your weekend today, pocket this post for when yours arrives!! And if you are headed to work I hope your coffee or tea makes it better!

Today is my weekend and I like to spend it setting my week up for success! Sometimes even little things added in to your routine can help make your week feel like it flows more successfully!

What areas could you use a little tweak in? Time management, organization, morning routine? With a little time and just a few minor adjustments your whole week can flow less stressed!

For today, enjoy the sunshine and whatever beverage makes you smile!

When talking about a growth mindset, you have to acknowledge the opposite. A fixed mindset. This occurs when people see their traits and capabilities as unchanging, no matter how much time, circumstance, or or ability has come to pass. They see their ability as being in a fixed state.

The concept of growth and fixed mindsets was coined by psychologist Carol Dweck in her 2006 book, Mindset: The New Psychology of Success.

According to Dweck, challenging situations can be catastrophic for those with fixed mindsets because of the implication that if they don’t already have the skills or intelligence to complete a task, there’s no chance of improvement.

When you have a growth mindset, you believe you can gain the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed, which makes every challenge a learning opportunity. Given the numerous challenges entrepreneurs face, a growth mindset can be a powerful tool as you work toward your venture’s success.

Nothing in your life will change if you go through with a fixed mindset. What goals could help shift any fixed notions you may have to a more fluid growth mindset?

Growth mindset describes a way that people can go through life viewing challenges and setbacks, and dealing with them. People who have a growth mindset believe that even if they struggle with certain skills, their abilities can improve. They feel that with work, their skills can get better over time.

What makes the “growth mindset” work is that it creates a want for learning through a process rather than a need for approval. It brings to the forefront the conviction that human qualities, like intelligence and creativity, and even relational capacities like love and friendship, can be cultivated through effort and practice and intention. Not only are people with this mindset not as easily discouraged by failure, but they don’t actually see themselves as failing in those situations — they see themselves as learning.

A new week has arrived! The good news is you have survived everything thrown your way so far!! This is a sign you have been resilient and there is no reason that you will not continue to be!

Resilience is the ability to adapt to a changing environment, and this adaptive stress response (also known as allostasis) is crucial for survival. Everyone faces challenges and hardship at times.

Resilience is your ability to cope with and bounce back from stress and adversity, and hopefully even grow through the experience. It is sometimes referred to as “thriving” … and not just surviving.

Resilience is not a fixed state. You may be more resilient at different times in your life than others. Most importantly, resilience can be learned, practiced, developed, and strengthened.

Resilience. Resilience through- Trauma. Stress. Coping. Sickness. Immense joy. Family. Healing. Calm. Whatever this week brings you can handle it. It might be hard, it might be joyous, it might be exhausting. We CAN do it. Looking for ways to build your resilience?? Let's chat! đź’š

2025!! Some may say it has felt like a roller coaster, or they can't keep up, or what is coming next!! No matter where you stand politically, or what is going on in your personal life- sometimes there are times that just feel like constant. Constant change, constant news, constant negative, constant needs from people around you! Like waves in the ocean it can be unpredictable.

When we visit the beach, I have always taught my kids to "jump with the waves". It's harder for the water to take you under if you try to ride it out, instead of standing still, feet planted refusing to move. You will surely get knocked over. Life is the same way. Some waves are going to knock us down. But, if you can try to ride them out, maybe you won't go down, and if you do, perhaps you will jump up faster ready for what's next.

Don't lose heart. There is good around you. Sometimes it is hard to find, especially with waves coming in fast. However it is there! You can withstand the waves. After the waves comes the calm and the beauty on shore, even if brief. We must learn to be strong, and ride it out to see that come!
