Today Mrs. Beal's First Grade tuned ukes by singing "My dog has fleas," then sang and played "Old Dog, Full of Fleas." We also worked on Spring Concert songs! The K-2 Spring Concert will be on May 20, at 5:30 pm, and based on the book "The Day the Crayons Quit."

Mrs. Bosso's First Grade and Mrs. Beal's First Grade students sang "Aikan Drum," a song about the man in the moon, and created their own versions! We also played instruments to the beat of this Scottish folk song.

Mrs. Beal's First Grade Students had fun acting out The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats in music today! We pretended to make snow angels, sang the pathway of snow hills, and moved to show high and low. They were very creative and focused!
