Making something out of nothing! 🚤🌴

This afternoon, our afterschoolers unplugged from technology and let their imaginations lead the way! During outdoor recess, they created an exciting adventure where their boat crashed in the jungle, and together they had to figure out how to survive.

Through dramatic play, our students practiced collaboration, communication, creative problem-solving, and teamwork—all while having fun. It’s amazing what can happen when children are given the freedom to imagine, explore, and create their own stories.

At WAC, we believe some of the best learning happens through play. By encouraging imaginative experiences like these, we’re helping children build confidence, strengthen social skills, and discover that their creativity can take them anywhere. 💚

🚗🌟 STEM Learning Through Play! 🌟🚗

Our older toddlers had a fantastic time building ramps using magnetic tiles, blocks, and cars! Through hands-on exploration, they became little engineers as they designed, tested, and improved their creations.

Building ramps with 3D materials helps toddlers:
✨ Develop early engineering skills
✨ Strengthen problem-solving and critical thinking
✨ Explore cause and effect through motion and gravity
✨ Build spatial awareness and early math concepts
✨ Enhance fine motor skills and creativity

As children stacked blocks to support their ramps and experimented with different heights and angles, they discovered how design choices affect the way their cars move. Learning happens naturally when children are given opportunities to explore, create, and play!

Our Toddler Program provides engaging, play-based experiences that nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning every day.
