What a year of growth for Mrs. Fawley’s kindergarten class! 📚❤️

Together, these amazing students have taken home and read “341” books this school year! Before a book could be taken home, each student had to successfully read the entire book independently in class to share with their families later.

Many of these sweet kids began the year knowing their letters and sounds, but what they learned to do with them this year has been incredible to witness. These kinders are now confidently reading sight words, tackling tricky words, and growing in fluency and comprehension every single day.

To watch this transformation happen in just one school year has been nothing short of amazing. The hard work, perseverance, and determination these students have shown deserves to be celebrated!

We are so proud of each and every one of them and cannot wait to see where their love for reading takes them next. Keep shining, kindergarten friends — the world is waiting for your stories. ✨📖

Our countdown to summer continued today with “Soak a Senior!” What a fun way to cool off on this super hot day. 💦☀️

In just a few short days, these members of the GCA Class of 2026 will walk across the stage and begin their next chapter. We’re so thankful for the joy, laughter, and memories they’ve shared with our school family over the years. Congratulations, seniors — we are so proud of you! 🎓

Mrs. Scepanski and her first-grade class continued their work with Lucky Mutts Rescue this year through one of the sweetest examples of project-based learning imaginable. 🐾

Over the course of the school year, Mrs. Scepanski and her first graders helped foster and love "13" puppies. What started as a special opportunity quickly became so much more than anyone could have imagined.

Students learned responsibility, teamwork, compassion, patience, and empathy in real and meaningful ways each and every day. They practiced gentle care, celebrated growth, worked together, and discovered how even the smallest acts of kindness can make a huge impact.

But beyond the lessons, these puppies brought comfort, joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories into the classroom. ❤️

Sometimes the greatest learning doesn’t come from a textbook. Sometimes it comes with wagging tails, sleepy puppy snuggles, and little hearts learning how to care deeply for others.

And the best part of all? All 13 puppies found their forever homes. 🐶✨

Thank you, Mrs. Scepanski, for bringing this incredible experience into your classroom. It is sure to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Field Day 2026 at McCarty Park ☀️

Memories were made, laughter filled the air, and God blessed us with absolutely beautiful weather for a day full of fun, teamwork, and smiles. From games and races to time spent with friends, it was a day our students are sure to remember for years to come!

What a blessing our GCA benefit was! It was incredible to see so many people come together with such a genuine love for our school community. Our students beautifully shared their God-given talents through music, service, and even a fun preview of our upcoming musical, Seussical!

To all of the staff, students, families, donors, and community members who supported us financially and gave so generously of their time and talents...thank you! Your support, encouragement, and belief in the mission of Grace Christian Academy mean more than words can express.

We are so grateful to walk this journey together and excited to continue watching God work through our school community.
