So, as we bring this year to a close, we especially congratulate the 5th graders as they make their way to their futures outside of Jefferson Elementary. Thanks to parents, staff, students and administrators on such a powerful year of learning.

As we close out another incredible school year, we are proud to recognize our outstanding 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Molly Sprister, as Jefferson's Teacher of the Year! This award is voted on by her own colleagues and there is no one more deserving than Ms. Sprister.

Molly embodies everything it means to be a Jefferson Bear. She consistently goes above and beyond for her students, colleagues, and our entire school community. Her dedication to continuous growth, commitment to high-quality instruction, and unwavering belief in her students help create a classroom where all learners can thrive. Even when things are challenging, she always finds a positive way forward.

Beyond her work in the classroom, Molly is the definition of a team player. She is always willing to lend a hand, support a colleague, and do whatever it takes to help Jefferson succeed. Her passion for our students and genuine love for Jefferson shine through in everything she does.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Molly as part of our team and community.

We would like to congratulate our Jefferson STUDENTS OF THE YEAR! These outstanding students earned this special honor by being recognized as Bear of the Month at least once in their own classrooms AND they were chosen as Student of the Quarter in all four of their enrichment classes throughout the year. That means they were selected as exemplary students FIVE different times. This is an incredible accomplishment that reflects their consistent demonstration of The Jefferson Way!

Well folks, here were are. The last day of school for the 2025-2026 school year. As we reflect on all of the success we also move forward to next year. . . but not before a well deserved time of rest and relaxation. Have a wonderful and safe summer Jefferson Families!

Well it's a busy time of year and we missed some countdown days. But we just completed the 2nd to last day of school. The big 1 is tomorrow! Can't wait to celebrate all the hard work of the students and staff that went into this year.

Today, Jefferson and Wilson were honored to welcome Dottke High School seniors for their Senior Walk! Our students cheered them on with signs, cards, and applause as they celebrated this exciting milestone. 🎓🐻✨

What a great year for the Jefferson Chess Club. Mr. Ivanyos taught the students after school throughout the year. They worked with the principles of sportsmanship, focus and having fun. The chess tournament was the culmination of a year's worth of growth and of course the pizza party at the end of the year was the icing on the cake. A great time was had by all.

The countdown continues. . .

Some of our staff is using their fashion sense and school pride to get a countdown going. . . Yup, there are only 6 school days left in the year. Stay tuned for the next installment tomorrow of our Jefferson end of the year countdown. What an amazing staff.
