TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY!

Friday, September 18th is officially Third Friday Count Day!

Every student who walks through our doors tomorrow is counted by the State of Wisconsin to determine our school funding for the year. Having your student in class ensures our schools receive full state support to fund teachers, programs, arts, athletics and more.

Plus, our schools have lots of fun activities planned to make this day extra exciting.

IT’S WALKER DINE OUT WEDNESDAY! 🍜

Tonight, September 16, head to Noodles & Company at 864 N Mayfair Rd, Wauwatosa between 4–8 PM and help support Walker PTA!

It’s Craft Fair Season! 🧶🍂

Come join us for our first craft fair on Sunday, October 25th. There are two ways to join us. Vendors are $35 and Students are $25. Your fre comes with a table and 2 chairs. The links to sign up are below in the comments. If your just coming to browse it is a $2 entry fee. Please email us at [email protected] for any questions. September is Attendance Awareness Month!

And if you’re a parent, you know… getting everyone out the door and to school on time can sometimes feel like an Olympic sport. 😂

But as we get settled into a new school year, it’s worth remembering that being at school each day really does make a difference. Every day is a chance for our kids to learn something new, see their friends, connect with their teachers, and be part of their school community.

Of course, sick days are sick days, and sometimes life happens. But when our kids are healthy and able to be at school, helping them build the habit of regular attendance is one small thing we can do to set them up for a great year.

Here’s to fewer missing shoes, forgotten backpacks, and “WAIT…WHERE IS YOUR HOMEWORK?” mornings! 😆
