Yup, that about sums it up. The last bell has rung, the last attendance has been taken, and the last student got their lunch. The last teacher vs. staff flag football game happened. The last recess occurred. It’s been a great run, Longfellow.
On Longfellow’s last day with students, what a great message written in sidewalk chalk: “We love Longfellow. It’s the best. “ 
The last sphero challenge of the year was the “battle bots.” Partnerships designed, built and improved on the design to knock over the cup of their opponent. Of course driving was a learning process as well.
Our kindness incentive challenge reached its dramatic conclusion this afternoon as students could qualify to water balloon (in this case used as a verb) their teachers.
We are celebrating the Longfellow Legacy Celebration today. This is a special day in Longfellow history. Alumni, both recent and distant are celebrating our rich history. Parents, community members, faculty (both current and former) are gathering to celebrate a unique school.

Our Longfellow Lions had a great time at our Spring Sing practice this morning. Our performers were stupendous as usual and our audience was the best. Special thanks to Ms. Radiske for leading the show!

Longfellow honored Mrs. Zagorski for our Lunchroom Superhero Day last week. Without her, this school would not be what it is. Thanks for all you do!
Our Longfellow News Crew is completing its first round of podcasts. Take a listen to this podcast by clicking the movie below. It features our 1st and 2nd-grade class and their work on collaborating with a local gym (Peak Physique) on physical fitness.
May the 4th be with you. On this Star Wars celebration day, our 4th and 5th graders had to go through a Death Star maze to get points. To do this they had to use a bunch of trial and error to program their spheros. Love it!

It was a great day to be a Longfellow Lion. Our school-wide community went to Urban Air for a celebration of our hard work this year. A great time was had by all!

I couldn't be prouder of our Longfellow Lions Chess Team on their great job in the District Tournament! A great effort all around including Armando, our 4th place finisher.

Longfellow Presentation of Learning Night was in full swing tonight! Whether it's caring for baby chicks to showcase lifecycles, student-led yoga, or demonstrating environmental sustainability with rain barrels and repurposed flower beds, Longfellow students did a great job.
