Attendance matters.

September is Attendance Awareness Month!

And if you’re a parent, you know… getting everyone out the door and to school on time can sometimes feel like an Olympic sport. 😂

But as we get settled into a new school year, it’s worth remembering that being at school each day really does make a difference. Every day is a chance for our kids to learn something new, see their friends, connect with their teachers, and be part of their school community.

Of course, sick days are sick days, and sometimes life happens. But when our kids are healthy and able to be at school, helping them build the habit of regular attendance is one small thing we can do to set them up for a great year.

Here’s to fewer missing shoes, forgotten backpacks, and “WAIT…WHERE IS YOUR HOMEWORK?” mornings! 😆
