Only a few days left to take action! On June 13th, 2025, postcards were sent to Wisconsin voters who haven't voted in the last 4 years, labeled as NOTICE OF VOTER REGISTRATION SUSPENSION. If you are still eligible to vote and your address or name has changed, update your information on myvote.wi.gov or with a paper form to your local clerk. If unchanged, sign and return the card to your clerk. To find your local clerk, visit myvote.wi.gov, click “Where Do I Vote?” then “Find my Clerk.” Respond by July 15, 2025, or you will be removed from the voter registration list. Visit elections.wi.gov/statistics-data/voter-list-maintenance for more info.

Leigh Ann recently retired from LWVMC’s High School Voter Registration program after 10 years of leadership. Empowering young people to vote is an important issue for her.
I give to the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County….
.. because I believe in the work the organization does and because the people I have worked with are so dedicated to the work they do. I know first-hand that the money will be spent judiciously with the organization's goals in mind.
About Leigh Ann:
I joined the League almost ten years ago after retiring from a medical diagnostics company that my husband and I created in partnership with the Blood Center of Wisconsin (now Versiti). We made FDA-approved products for transplant and transfusion centers worldwide. I learned about the League of Women Voters when I was looking to donate my time to something that would have an impact. I learned that the LWVMC chapter was about to start up a high school outreach program, and I volunteered for the program as soon as it was organized. Barely a few months later, I was asked to take over leadership of the program.
The League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County is holding its first ever Giving Day to celebrate International Women’s Day on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Help us kick off this inaugural Giving Day with a gift that will support LWVMC’s voter services, advocacy, and operating activities wherever they are needed the most in 2025.

No matter where we come from, our race or how we worship, most of us want what’s best for Wisconsin. But the legislature is focused on grabbing more power for themselves rather than focusing on the issues people care about. This amendment addresses a problem that doesn’t exist: voter ID is already law. This April, let’s come together and use our power to say enough is enough. Learn more: https://bit.ly/WIVotesNo

As we approach the end of another year at the League of Women Voters, we reflect on our outreach work with voters and advocacy conversations. Thank you for your support during 2024. We reached out to over 11,000 people with our volunteers, logging over 3400 hours with Voter Services. As we now look ahead to 2025, we recognize our work is far from being over. We will continue to empower voters and defend democracy.
Your support is needed to provide resources for our volunteers to educate citizens on their voting rights, provide voter registration assistance, and advocate for issues such as climate change and reproductive rights.
We are in the final days of the year for you to make a year-end gift to the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County. Every dollar you give makes a difference!! No donation is too small! Make your tax-deductible donation to the League here: https://lwvmilwaukee.org/donate! The League's EIN is 39-6096750.
THANK YOU
Sincerely,

LWVMC Still time to help meet our goal!
Thank you for your support this past year to empower voters and defend democracy. Local elections this spring determine those who will make decisions that impact you and your family. Your donation provides resources for our dedicated volunteers who educate citizens on their voting rights, provide voter registration assistance and advocate for issues such as climate change and reproductive rights.
Please donate now and help us meet our $10,000 goal for the year-end campaign. We are almost half-way there! You can donate by check made payable to League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County and mailed to the league office at 6737 West Washington Avenue, Suite 2218, West Allis, WI 53214. Or you can donate by credit card at https://lwvmilwaukee.org/donate
Consider these alternative ways to give:
Donate part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA. Talk with your financial advisor about the tax benefits of making a Qualified Charitable Distribution gift from your IRA to the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County. Have the check made out to the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County. Our EIN number is 39-6096750.
Make a gift from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF). You have already received a tax deduction for your gift, so this is as easy as deciding how much you would like to donate to the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County. This last chance to Buy our Coffee this year. Your purchase of coffee supports our work and mission to empower voters and defend democracy. It also supports women-owned coffee farms in Colombia and Brazil, where women traditionally have supplied most of the labor but are rarely the owners.
