We are excited to host the 5th Annual Disability & Accessibility Resource Fair on Tuesday, October 13 from 5-7pm at the Recreation Center located at 2450 S. 68th Street. This event is dedicated to connection, inclusion and community support! This free event is designed to help parents, caregivers and individuals discover the wide range of resources available throughout Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties. Last year our Resource Fair had 60 vendors and more than 100 attendees!

Make sure you are on the look out for bus route information!

Families eligible for district transportation should keep an eye out for a postcard from First Student. Bus route postcards with your student's bus stop location and pick-up time are being mailed today, August 14.

Be sure to check your mailbox over the next several days so you have the information you need to get ready for the first day of school!

Caring for a child or adult with disabilities can be meaningful, rewarding and at times overwhelming. Caregiver Connection Circle is a new Adaptive Recreation program designed to create a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to connect, share experiences, exchange resources and support one another.

Join us for conversation, encouragement and community in a judgment-free environment. Light refreshments will be served. ☕
