We are so grateful for the Co-Lin Alumni and Foundation and their generous donors who make opportunities like this possible!

Thank you for investing in our Adult Education staff and supporting the people who pour so much into our students every day. Your generosity means so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued support!

This fall, the Co-Lin Foundation proudly awarded more than $15,000 in professional development and tuition reimbursement to faculty and staff through Foundation scholarship opportunities.

Pictured are some of this fall’s recipients (from left): Keith Stovall, Rosie Twiner, Stacy Fells, Kelly Fenwick, Danielle White, Allison Dann, Shanna Clark, Cody McElwain, Chad Austin, Britney Murray, Joshulin Hart, and Brandi Drew.

We are grateful to our generous donors who make these opportunities possible and proud to support our faculty and staff as they continue to learn, grow, and invest in our students.

Interested in supporting faculty and staff development? Gifts to the Co-Lin Foundation help make opportunities like these possible. Give online at colin.edu/alumni-foundation/give-now or contact the Foundation Office at 601.643.8313.

WORKPLACE WEDNESDAY!

There are many forms of workplace productivity…

Answering emails. ✔️
Teaching students. ✔️
Scheduling campus tours. ✔️
Ordering lunch. ✔️

We may not always be working on the same thing, but one thing is certain: We know how to come together when it really matters! 😂

Because behind every great workplace is a team that works hard, supports one another, and knows what’s important.

And around here, Student Success 🎓 AND Fried Chicken Wednesday 🍗 in the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Cafeteria are definitely at the top of that list!

Happy Workplace Wednesday from the Co-Lin Adult Education crew! 💙🐺

AEFL WEEK: LET’S TALK ABOUT OUR STAFF!!

We’ve spent AEFL Week celebrating our students, sharing what Adult Education is REALLY all about, and breaking down the myths and stigma that sometimes surround it.

But today… we’re celebrating the people who show up every day and make it happen!
Every member of our staff has their own personality, their own style, and apparently… their own walkout song! 😂

Because our department doesn’t just teach. They encourage. They challenge. They laugh with our students. They celebrate the wins, help pick up the pieces after the hard days, and remind our students that their past does NOT determine their future.

So here’s a little peek at some of the personalities behind the classrooms!

Adult Education is so much more than a classroom. It’s people helping people believe in what’s possible.

Happy AEFL Week! We’re proud of our students, proud of our staff, and proud of the work happening every single day!
