We are so excited for this new chapter at Co-Lin! 💙🩻 Congratulations to Dr. Walterine Nelson on becoming Dean of Nursing & Allied Health! We’re excited to see all the great things ahead! 🎉💙

Co-Lin is growing to meet the needs of our students and our region! 💙🩺We’re excited to announce the establishment of our new Division of Nursing and Allied Health, bringing seven healthcare programs together under one unified division. The new division will strengthen collaboration, support student success and create opportunities to build even stronger partnerships with healthcare providers. We’re also proud to announce Dr. Walterine Nelson as the new Dean of Nursing and Allied Health. A Co-Lin graduate and experienced nurse educator and administrator, Dr. Nelson brings more than 25 years of experience to this important role. She has served as Co-Lin’s Associate Degree Nursing Director for the last two years and successfully led the program through the accreditation process where Co-Lin received full accreditation from the Mississippi Board of Nursing.

We are incredibly thankful to Co-Lin for their support in helping us acquire new radiography equipment for our program!
