Meet Board Member Jay Berger — former ATP World No. 7, elite coach, and lifelong leader in the game of tennis.

Jay’s impact on the sport spans decades, from competing at the highest level on the ATP Tour to developing some of today’s top American players and coaches. A former Davis Cup standout, Jay later built an incredible coaching career through the University of Miami, USTA Player Development, and years of mentoring elite professionals including Jack Sock and Reilly Opelka.

Today, Jay serves as Director of Athletics at The Club at Ibis, where he continues to shape the future of racquet sports through leadership, education, and player development.

We’re proud to have Jay’s experience, passion, and vision helping guide our organizations as we continue to support racquet sport coaches around the world.

This milestone marks the launch of a 10-month leadership experience focused on personal growth, professional development, and meaningful connection within a global community of women coaches. Selected from a highly competitive international pool, these women represent the future of tennis, pickleball, and racquet sports leadership worldwide.

Through mentorship, collaboration, and leadership development, participants will deepen their impact both on and off the court - strengthening their ability to grow players, programs, and communities. As shared by PTR Vice President Milena Vidos, this inaugural group embodies the passion, leadership, and dedication driving the future of our sport.

Each coach was chosen for their leadership potential, commitment to developing others, and vision for building a more inclusive coaching community.
