Spent some time today with the second graders at New River Elementary School in Wesley Chapel. You’ll see the kids introduce the Bus Stop Forecast tomorrow morning on Good Morning Tampa Bay.

Penguin Shop has officially wrapped, and we could not let this moment pass without saying a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this beloved tradition such a success.

To our students, thank you for bringing the excitement, the smiles, and your thoughtful hearts. Watching you carefully choose gifts for your loved ones, teachers, staff, and even yourselves was truly special. 💝

To our families, thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and generosity. Your involvement makes opportunities like this possible for our students year after year.

And to our amazing volunteers, THANK YOU for giving your time, patience, and kindness. From helping little shoppers count their money to wrapping fragile gifts with care, YOU helped make all the difference. We couldn’t have done this without you! 🙌✨

🐧✨🛍 Day 1 of Penguin Shop was a success!
Our students came in full of excitement as they picked out thoughtful gifts for the people they love. It was such a joy watching them shop with intention and big smiles!

We can’t wait to help even more little penguins find the perfect gifts over the next few days. 💙❄️

A quick reminder:
🗓️ Friday is the final day for students to shop.
If your child already shopped on their scheduled day but spotted something they really wanted to purchase—for a family member, a teacher or staff member, or even for themselves—but didn’t have enough money at the time, they’ll have one more opportunity to shop on Friday.

From December 8–12, our students will get the chance to shop for sweet, affordable gifts for the whole family right inside the NRES Media Center. It’s always such a magical week watching our little shoppers pick out surprises with so much thought and excitement. 💙❄️

👉 Volunteers Needed!
To make this event truly special (and to help those adorable penguin shoppers stay on budget 😄), we need approved volunteers to assist throughout the week. If you’ve been looking for a fun way to get involved, this is it!

🐧 Max spend: $100 per student
