This summer, Valley Nature Center’s Quest camp has been a fantastic adventure for kids! They’ve explored nature, enjoyed hands-on learning, and made wonderful new friends. A huge thank you to the Valley Nature Center for sponsoring 30 students to experience this amazing journey! It’s heartwarming to see young minds grow and connect with the environment around them. Here’s to more fun-filled days under the sun!

Congratulations to the Weslaco High School Honors Wind Ensemble on advancing to the TMEA State Honor Band Contest Semi-Finals!
This remarkable achievement places our students among the finest band programs in Texas and marks a historic moment for Weslaco High School. For the first time since 1962, the Honors Wind Ensemble has advanced in the prestigious TMEA State Honor Band process, a competition that ultimately selects the state’s premier 6A Honor Band.
This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, talent, discipline, and countless hours of hard work demonstrated by our student musicians, directors, and staff. Their commitment to musical excellence has continued a tradition of pride and achievement that has inspired generations of Panthers.
We extend our sincere congratulations and gratitude to every student, director, staff member, parent, and supporter who played a role in this success. Your passion, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence have brought great honor to Weslaco High School and the entire Weslaco community.

Weslaco East is excited for a brand new volleyball season, which is still two months away. The Lady Wildcats hold summer workouts to establish a nice rhythm before the new year begins.
